I am a California girl at heart who is lucky enough to live in one of the most wonderful, un-California cities in the world, New York. Most days, you'll find me exploring my new home with my amazing husband and our dog, Friday. I love to travel, eat just about anything with peanut butter, meet new friends, shop, read, take pictures, and spoil other peoples' kids and pets rotten. Inspired by fashion, art, and pop culture, I love to capture images using natural light. Although I enjoy taking all kinds of pictures, my style veers towards lifestyle and editorial photography and my favorite subjects are people. Happily Ever After...

We narrowly avoided having our wedding during the huge fires that swept the very next day and covered the wedding site in ashes. Phew! Luckily, the wedding day was absolutely beautiful and we felt very blessed to be surrounded by friends and family to celebrate.

Our amazing photographers, Michael and Emi of Evoke Photography captured the day in such a special way! Not to mention they were incredibly patient with me - as a photographer too, I was really particular about what I wanted. Of course, having seen their work and gotten to know them before the wedding, I already loved their style and trusted them to produce fantastic images. Here's a sneak peek:
