I am a California girl at heart who is lucky enough to live in one of the most wonderful, un-California cities in the world, New York. Most days, you'll find me exploring my new home with my amazing husband and our dog, Friday. I love to travel, eat just about anything with peanut butter, meet new friends, shop, read, take pictures, and spoil other peoples' kids and pets rotten. Inspired by fashion, art, and pop culture, I love to capture images using natural light. Los Angeles Family Session: Mark and Lisa
I felt so lucky to go back to California and enjoy amazing weather with this wonderful family! It has been a couple years since I saw them last, and they were expecting a new addition when we took these photos. The baby, a girl, was just born last week and she could not join a more fun, sweet family.

Our Great Northern US Road Trip!
About a month ago, we took an amazing roadtrip to South Dakota, Wyoming, and North Dakota. Ever since we watched Ken Burns' wonderful documentary series on National Parks, we've been amped to visit at least one new National Park per year. This trip, we hit three plus a bunch of wonderful state parks, monuments, tons of wildlife (and lots of babies including baby wild horses and buffalo!), historic sites, and gorgeous scenery.
