Los Angeles Portrait Photographer: Mary

It's been almost a year since I'd last seen Mary and we did a great session in Pasadena.  We both have since moved out of state, so it was exciting to get back together and be amongst friends in LA.  I'm a sucker for great shoes, so I was pretty excited when she brought out a killer dress and some seriously FIERCE shoes.  Add some amazing light and this mini session turned out fantastic.

Los Angeles Family Photographer: Anastasia

As part of a larger session, we did mini-sessions with some of the ladies and their families.  Anastasia was a little worried at first that her adorable little girl would feel too shy around me to pose for photos.  Once she warmed up, though, we got a few smiles and she revealed her sweet personality.  And those eyes!  She has some of the most soulful eyes I've ever seen a little girl have.

Los Angeles Portrait Photographer: Elissa and Friends

This was one of my longest (almost four hours!) sessions but also one of the most fun.  When Elissa contacted me about doing a session with some of her close girlfriends, their significant others, and families I was like, "I'm in!"  From the first moment we all met, they made me feel like one of them and we happily got to know each other while they caught up, primped, deck changed (!) and took some photos.  They were such a fun and kind group.
