I am a twenty-something photographer from southern California who recently relocated to Chicago with my fabulous husband and our puppy, Friday. I love to travel, meet new friends, shop, read, take pictures, and spoil other peoples' kids and pets rotten. This blog includes my rants and raves about my personal life as well as my adventures in the photography business.

Inspired by fashion, art, and pop culture, I love to capture images using natural light. Although I enjoy taking all kinds of pictures, my style veers towards lifestyle and editorial photography and my favorite subjects are people. Chicago Headshot Photography: Areck


I can't stress enough the importance of getting professional headshots, whether it's for a website, professional online profile, or printed material for your company.  They can be affordable if you want something simple and do just a little planning ahead.  Areck came to me needing just one or two photos but realized that having a professional photographer take them would add that extra polish. So next time you're uploading a profile photo to your website or LinkedIn, don't crop that vacation photo!  Call a professional and get something nice done.
